Israel in 4 BC had no mass communication
At the behest of various people, I have signed up for both Twitter and Skype. Very early days with both, but I like the way that, if I know someone's e-mail address, Skype will let me search on this, even though it's not publicly accessible information otherwise. Twitter, by contrast, seems to require me to spam my friends without knowing whether they're already on the service or not, which I'm not keen on - unless I'm missing something, there's no facility to search a database of existing users.
In both cases, my user name is the same as my livejournal account, so feel free to look me up.
