Tom Lehrer famously announced, when Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, that he was "giving up satire due to unfair competition from reality."
I wonder if Graham Linehan and Arthur Matthews feel much the same way today, after Ireland's Eurovision entry for this year, 'sung' by Dustin the Turkey.

"My lovely horse,
you're a pony no more.
Running around with a man on your back,
Like a train in the night,
Like a train in the night."
