...and Christmas hasn't really even started yet. I was idly looking at the LBC radio website to see if there was anything worth listening to, and saw a programme billed as "Carol Concert." "I've not heard of her," I thought. "Wonder if she's new, or just covering for Christmas?" It wasn't until I read the blurb underneath about Great Ormond Street Hospital that I realised that it was, you know, actually a real carol concert...

Anyway, lots of good radio listening today (some of which even overlaps, but that's nothing that iPlayer can't resolve):

• A "new" Kenny Everett show on Radio 2, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  
• Walter de la Mere Ghost Stories on Radio 7, 6.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Thankyou Radio 2 for this Fab Christmas treat of Kenny Everett, A true legend of his time. Please feel free to repeat time and time again. This must have been the most refreshing programme on any radio station over Christmas, and made up for the missing Chris Evans. Thanks again, you are a great station radio 2. Andy
