A worthwhile cause

ceemageClaire Young was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma this summer at the age of 16, and has been devoting herself since to raising as much money for Cancer Research UK as she can. On Thursday 25th and Friday 26th November the Royalty Theatre Youth Academy hosted 2 showcase performances to raise funds for the appeal, featuring drama, dance, music, singing, comedy and more. Claire herself will be doing a sponsored walk to raise funds tomorrow, Sunday 28th - you can follow her progress on Spark Sunderland live from 10 am, and donate via her JustGiving web page here.
