The best politicians money can buy

A couple of thoughts from my POV:
1) In the old days, this kind of expose would have been led by one of the newspapers (Anyone else remember the News of the World’s “Fake Sheik?) rather than by a campaign group. But then, holding power to account doesn’t appear to be in fashion in Fleet Street these days.
2) Their defenders are saying “It’s not as if they’ve done anything illegal,” as if this absolves them. Surely the point is that, yes, this Isn’t illegal, but it damn well ought to be. Or does the website theyworkforyou.com need to change its name to theyworkforwhoeverhasaspare£10kdownthebackofthesofa.com?
