This is like a conversation I had with a friend who was complaining that movies used to be better. He was saying "oh, look at the movies from the 40s and 50s, such classics," and I was trying to point out that he was looking at a tiny percentage of the films made back then. I looked it up and found there were more than 1500 films released in 1948, for example -- for every Treasure of the Sierra Madre there were fifty Jungle Goddesses.

OK, so now I have to go google "Jungle Goddess" on IMDB...

I cued up the MST3K version of it on the Shout! streaming TV network, just to see if their comments could make it watchable, if not funny. Wow, it was bad. Oh my goodness. We couldn't watch it all, and it's only just over an hour long!
