Buffalo and Bison

I used to get confused about the difference between buffalo and bison. These days, I remember it by - you can't wash your hands in a buffalo.

There are some certainly beautiful photos of the bison with the article. But... it seems weird to rewild an area by introducing an animal that's never lived there...

mrs. ceemage pointed this out too. One can only hope that they know what they are doing - unlike, say, the people who introduced rabbits to Australia.
