So, A. was watching the end of this week's Life in Cold Blood, and they were doing a teaser for next week's show, featuring giant turtles. A. wondered how many eggs a turtle would lay. I said I was fairly sure it was just one at a time. But, I added, the female turtles can remember each and every egg they ever lay. "In fact," I said, "they have turtle recall."
