Beyond parody
Jan. 24th, 2009 10:31 amIt has come to my attention that some people are not aware that "You Are Old, Father William" is, like much else in the Alice books, a parody of an existing poem. The problem is that the original has faded out of public consciousness, so now people are only aware of the parody.
