They have taken down the hoarding around the new train station in #sunderland. I noticed that inside it has the old British rail logo all over the place, as a general symbol of “railwayness”. I believe these days this symbol actually belongs to the secretary of state, as after rail privatisation, there was no one body who had exclusive rights to it. Train companies and network rail are allowed to license it from him on request.
